Maailmassa, jossa supersankarit ovat totta, mielenterveysongelmainen kirjanpitäjä ilman supervoimia alkaa epäillä, että kuolleeksi luultu superroisto omistaa hänen kaupunkinsa. Alkaa seikkailu, joka on täynnä hulluja arkkivihollisia, verentahrimia oman käden oikeuden harjoittajia ja yli-inhimillistä friikkiyttä.
