Avattuaan vahingossa huipputeknologisen seinäpaneeliin, joka johtaa salaiseen maanalaiseen laboratorioon, Leo löytää kolme teini-superihmistä - vahvan Adamin, nopean Breen ja älykkään Chasen. Teinit ovat innokkaita pääsemään ulos, joten he suostuttelevat Leon ottamaan heidät mukaansa kouluun, jossa he esittävät normaaleita teinejä, joilla ei ole erikoisvahvuuksia. Ajan myötä he auttavat Leoa luottamaan itseensä ja keksivät tapoja, joilla pitää erikoiskykynsä ja vaaralliset tehtävänsä salassa maailmalta.
