Kim Possible on tavallinen lukiolaistyttö, joka vapaa-ajallaan pelastaa maailman roistoilta. Apunaan hänellä on hänen paras kaverinsa Ron Stoppable, tämän lemmikkimyyrinkäinen Rufus ja verkkoasiantuntija Wade, joka lähettää heille tärkeää tietoa erityisen kimmunikaattorilaitteen avulla. Kim torjuu arkkivihollisia pitkin maailmaa ja palaa sitten kotiin perheen ja läksyjen pariin.
