Kauhu ja rikostrilleri kohtaavat Robert Rodriguezin alkuperäissarjassa. Sarja perustuu Rodriguezin B-kulttiklassikkoon, joka kertoo karkumatkalla olevista pankkirosvoveljeksistä, heitä jahtaavasta tuimasta sheriffistä, muinaisista demonisista voimista, ja tahtomattaan asiaan sotketusta uskovaisesta perheestä.
