Mies salaa pahaisen menneisyytensä ja näyttää täydelliseltä aviotuottajansa silmissä, kunnes poliisietsivä-vaimo alkaa tutkia sarjamurhia. Romanttinen suhde joutuu kovalle koetukselle, kun salaisuudet vähitellen paljastuvat tutkimuksen edetessä. Sarja sekoittaa rikosmysteerit ja tunnesiteet.
