Sarjassa velhot ja heidän puolustajansa Heroic Spiritit kilpailevat kiivaasti Pyhän Graalin hallinnasta. Pyhän Graalin sanotaan olevan kaikkivaltainen keksintö, joka täyttää minkä tahansa toivomuksen. Sarjassa yhdistyvät voimakkaat taistelut ja salaisuuksiin peittyvillä perusteilla käytävä kamppailu.
