Phil Mataresen ja Mike Lucianon laatimassa animaatiosarjassa seurataan sorrettujen eläinlajien selviytymistä ja arkipäivää yhdessä maailman epäasuttavimmissa paikoissa: New Yorkissa. Pienten kaupunkilaisten elämä on kuten ihmistenkin, täynnä moraalisia kysymyksiä, iän mukanaan tuomia kriisejä ja olemassaolon tarkoituksen pohdiskelua.
